Contacting Staff
As Unwritten Legends continues to grow and evolve, we want to make sure you know the best ways to contact staff when you need help, have questions, or want to report something. Here's how to reach us in order of preference:
1. In-Game report Command — Best for Quick Questions or Active Support
Use the in-game report command whenever possible. There’s almost always someone online, and if they have bandwidth, they’ll handle your request.
- If it’s not an emergency and you don’t get a response right away, just try again a little later.
- For anything more involved or if you don’t receive a reply, move on to the forum option below.
1a. In-Game bug and typo Commands — For Reporting Broken Items or Typographical Errors in Content
If you come across:
- Items or mechanics behaving incorrectly
- Typos in room descriptions or item text
Please use the bug or typo command from inside the game. This routes the issue directly into our review queue so it doesn’t get lost. We appreciate the reports!
2. Forum PM to the “Staff” Group — Best for Detailed Requests or Background Questions
Send a private message to the Staff group here on the forums. This will notify the entire staff team so the first available qualified person can respond. Do this by opening a new PM and then selecting "Staff" from the "Add groups" box in the upper right.
* Please do not send individual staff members PMs unless specifically instructed—this helps prevent missed messages and keeps the workload manageable.
Use this for:
- RP background questions
- Character development or profession alignment
- Lore clarifications
- Complex or non-urgent support issues
2a. Player Support & Bug Reports Subforum — For Public Bug Reports and Ongoing Issues
This subforum is available for:
- Reporting ongoing or visible in-game issues
- Submitting reproducible bugs
- Tracking things we’ve already acknowledged
You can also use this space to see what others have reported and avoid duplicates.
3. Email: admin@unwrittenlegends.net — Only for Login or Access Issues
This inbox goes directly to only me and should only be used if:
- You’re unable to access the game or forums
- You have a pressing administrative or technical issue that can’t be handled through normal channels
Please use the in-game or forum methods first for general questions.
