If a group of Druim'dwer were to compared to the more numerous Daun, the Inosmerti would be it. Perpetually girding for war and eternally seeking to set boundaries, the "Ironfist" Clan lays claim to the title of First Clan of the Druim'dwer by both force of arms and ancient lineage. The first Inosmerti Warlord was Pouaslin the Terror who drove an entire species (the Gyun Firelizards) to extinction in order to claim Inosholt (formerly Mt. Firereign) as the first Druim'dwer stronghold. The Inosmerti, although fierce and warlike, are the face the Druim'dwer show to the rest of the world in a sense, through the mercenary companies they hire out to the various above ground nations. How this has affected the relationships between the Druim'dwer and the rest of the societies of the Realms is a subject for an entire book unto itself. It can be said however that the average denizen of the upper realms holds a great deal of respect for the Druim'dwer warrior.
