If another player creates memorable roleplay, you can recognize it with a nomination.

Use: Example: How it works

• You may nominate up to 3 different characters per day. This is currently limited by account and may change.
• You may only nominate a given character once per day.
• You cannot nominate a character on your own account.
• The character must be online when you nominate them.
• When the daily sweep runs (approx midnight server time), all nominations from the previous day are totaled and turned into RPA rewards.

How rewards work
RPA rewards give:

• fame
• experience

More nominations increase the reward, but with diminishing returns. The first few nominations matter the most, and later ones add less. This helps keep the system meaningful without letting pile-ons get out of hand.
Experience is calculated using a level-aware system so the reward stays useful across the leveling curve. In plain English:

• the system compares a percentage of your next level
• against a time-equivalent benchmark
• then grants whichever is better

What This Means In Practice:

• Lower-level characters usually benefit more from the time side.
• Higher-level characters usually benefit more from the percentage side.
• This helps keep RPA rewards meaningful across the level curve.

The experience is awarded immediately during the nightly sweep. The "time" side is only used as a balancing reference; it is not a slow buffer that you have to wait out.

What to nominate
Good nominations are for roleplay that is:

• memorable
• generous
• scene-building
• characterful
• emotionally or socially engaging

A short, specific reason is better than a vague one.

Good:

• nominate trantris Strong mediation scene in the square.
• nominate norina Excellent mentoring RP with new players.

Less useful:

• nominate moukib good rp

A note on fairness
Please do not trade nominations, pressure others for them, or treat them like a daily chore. The goal is to reward real roleplay moments, not to create a social checklist.

Use them when someone genuinely made the game better.

RPA Nomination Update

Following the initial rollout, we've made a few adjustments based on player feedback.

What changed:

• No immediate nominee ping.
  Players will no longer receive an instant [rpa] You received an RPA nomination message at the moment a nomination is made.
• Nomination totals are now only revealed when rewards are delivered.
  If you are online when the daily RPA sweep runs, your message will include how many nominations were turned into your reward.
  If you are offline, that message will appear when your bonus is delivered on login.
• Offline nominations are now allowed.
  A character no longer has to be online in order to be nominated.
  This should make it easier to recognize scenes that ended after someone logged out, or memorable forum RP.
  The target must still be an unlocked player character.
• No change to the nomination limits.
  You still have 3 nominations per account per day.
  You still cannot nominate the same character twice in one day.
  You still cannot nominate a character on your own account.
