04/06/2026 Patch Notes - New Account Management System, speech fixes

Website Account Management Update (Live now!)
New & Improved
- New account creation now gives clearer instructions to check your email and verify your account before logging in.
- Changing your email address now sends a fresh verification email to the new address.
- The account details page has been reorganized for better readability, especially for long email addresses and Discord info.
- Account maintenance pages now have a more consistent look and clearer success/error messages.
- Fixed account name changes so they update more reliably across connected services.
- Fixed forum account syncing when changing your account name, password, or email address.
- Fixed Discord nickname syncing when your UL account name changes.
- Fixed password reset/account maintenance form behavior so updates complete more reliably.
Note: If you change your email address, you will need to verify the new email before the account is fully unlocked again.
Please report any issues regarding the above to me on Discord. If the web server returns a 503 error for any activity, refresh the browser and allow it to resubmit the form. Most of the parasitic traffic should be handled now, but occasionally there are still LLM/search engine traffic bursts.
Game Patch Notes (will be live on next restart):
- Fixed non-standard speech verbs such as bellow, mutter, and similar commands so spoken lines once again display with proper closing quotation marks.
- Fixed multiline speech and performance verbs so partially understood languages garble naturally again instead of producing broken or confusing output.
- Fixed cant display on non-standard speech verbs, so commands like recite now correctly show when you are speaking in cant.
- Improved quoted speech handling in edge cases to prevent odd formatting when special characters appear in spoken text.
