I've been appointed as the first non-staff administrator of the forums (bringing the number of systems I administer up to approximately ninety). You may notice I've gained an orange name, and staff members have lost theirs. We did a little shuffling around of default groups to make distinctions of authority and responsibility clearer. In short:
Red name: Staff. Responsible for running the game. General figure of authority.
Orange name: Administrator for the platform you're currently using. No authority — just a technician. Contact these users for technical support.
Purple name: Administrator for some other platform, such as the wiki. Again, just a technician.
We've applied these conventions across both the forums and Discord. So here on the forums, an orange name is a forums administrator. Over on Discord, an orange name is a Discord administrator. (Right now I'm the only non-staff admin in either place, but this may change.) In both places — and also in-game — a red name indicates staff.
Because of technical limitations, these conventions probably won't ever apply to the wiki.
